Biography

Agnieszka McAdam

       The work displayed here is a representation of Agnieszka's artwork comprising predominantly sensitive nudes in pastel as well as floral and still life work in oil and acrylic.

        Agnieszka is currently working from Canberra where she has held several exhibitions and her work is in demand from local galleries.  Agnieszka has also had her work displayed in Sydney, where it has been very well received. 

        Focusing mainly on sensitive nudes in pastel, Agnieszka reflects upon the beauty and aesthetics of the human form and finds pastels to be her best medium to capture that beauty.  As for Agnieszka's work in flowers and still life, it again reflects the artists admiration for the wonders of nature. The use of oil and acrylic media provides the depth and options that Agnieszka seeks in her work.

      Receiving a Master of Fine Arts degree in Poland, Agnieszka exhibited her work in Krakow and Warsaw before migrating to Australia. Agnieszka's plans for the future include cementing her place in the Australian art scene and distributing her work internationally.  Negotiations are underway for Agnieszka to hold an exhibition in London in late 2005.
