Biography

Babilla Bull

Babilla Bull Australian Aboriginal, mother of three and based in Melbourne, with a love of colours. My passion is deeply embedded in the design of my mosaic Goddesses. Guided by creative intuition, senses and imagination each Goddess is uniquely created.

The mosaic that I am holding is titled "The Elegant Golden Goddess", she is made from smooth reflective, coloured glass and a special 'bubbled' reflective coloured glass. She also contains mirror and flat black glass. The dark diamond shape on her middle is not black glass but a dark glass, reflecting different greens and purples, depending on the angle and the source of light. She has a red and gold adornment on her neck. She has been grouted in yellow which enhances and compliments her overall appearance.

The sole mosaic is titled 'Butterfly Goddess' glass mosaic, original design, detailed in gold. The glass surrounding the butterfly motif is a multicoloured reflective glass. Her bra top contains all the colours used to create the butterfly. She has crossover straps, one green and the other blue. She has been grouted in purple.
