Ivan Khokhlov

Ivan khokhlov--- Russian wellknown professional graphic artist , book and art-painter.
        Was born in 1945, Moscow. Graduated from Moscow Art Polygraphic University.
         Ivan Khokhlov  had created and painted more than 80 linotyped colored prints and pictures.
         His works consist of many series, such as " The Bible" series, "Images",
         "Сolor and Line", "The Parallel Worlds", "The XX Century's Prophets",
         "The Sea Symphony", "Pony and Hare's Life and Adventures" сhildren's series,
the miniature art works series "My Native Moscow Localities", "The Seasons" series .

Ivan Khokhlov had created the so called "mixed" art techniques for "The Sea Symphony" and "The Parallel Worlds" series. His works and pictures for children, are in many children's books.

His pictures are widely known throughout the world.
 Recently, he has had a number of solo exhibitions. Amongst them were exhibitions in Moscow Municipal Duma's art gallery and another was held in "Sosni" art gallery at the Russian Presidents' administration building. His art works and pictures of different series are held and presented in many of private collections, art galleries and museum collections in France, Australia, Canada, England, Japan, Germany, Chech Republic, and in The USA. Some of his works are in E.Genieva's,the director of the SOROS foundation of Russia,  Aytmatov's and G.Uranov's the Russian Ambassador to the Vatican,private home collections.

My paintings are also present in the private collection of Lolliy Szherbakov,Australia.

Five of Ivan Khokhlov's art works of different series were bought by Mr. Mstislav Rostropovitch for his private contemporary art collection.
